Rumbly in my tumbly......

So, today, we didnt do much. Lacie played so well with her toys and i was able to clean the living room from top to bottom. I decided to take it one room at a time. she took a nap long enough for me to get a shower and dressed. we went to a birthday party for her friend, Demarion. Then tonight we went meet her godfather, Terry, his wife Miriam and her sis and bro in law to eat at Logan's Road House. we got there at 730, got seated at 805 got our food at 930!!! we ended up waiting over an hour for our food! everyone else was getting their food. but not us! We were STARVING! Lacie was about spent by that time, and the manager finally came over and gave us some schpeel about how something went wrong with the kitchen printer, yadd a yadda yadda! and we got our food FREE!!! that was nice. and somehow, Lacie was such a trooper the whole time, she got a little fussy at one point but that was it. she ate bread, crackers, fries, had some sprite, played with a straw, the sugar packets and a menu! LOL. as i sit here writing this at 11:11PM, her butt is still awake! guess i better see about getting her to bed...

still waiting for poo.......

so lacie hasnt pooed yet. i need to get the sample to the labs.
so i told daycare, if she poos, do not throw the diaper away and call me immediately. i will come and do the sample and take it to the lab. how cool is this.... the lady at daycare said she would gladly do it for me. and she will freeze it and call me to come get it! how nice is that.

I have to collect what?! and put it in the fridge?!

so, Lacie has been sick with diarhea, also known as "butt piss". (she is gonna hate me when she gets older if she ever reads this) we thought it was over. i stayed home from work yesterday bc i got the virus but she has to be 24 hours free of butt piss. well, her last bowel movement yesterday afternoon was more on the solid side! yay!! she is finally better! uh, WRONG! daycare called me and i had to go get her. so i called the dr. office, and sorta fibbed, saying that she was diarrheaing for 6 days when it was only 4, but somethings got to give. seriously!! so Dr. C. noticed that her coloring was red and splotchy and her cheeks are really red. he seems to think that she has fifths disease, which really is no big deal. but i now have to take a stool (poo) sample and put it in 3 tubes that they gave me. but one tube has to be put on ice. (how would you like to open an ice chest and find some cold beer......and poo, right next to it) but i have to get the poo to the lab within s few hours. that is the catch. when will she poo? so, i am just sitting here, waiting.

Easter Sunday +Diarhea = no Easter dress for Lacie

so, we wake up to lacie puking in her bed. lovely. it wasnt much, just very mucousy, which she is always congested these days.

we clean her face and strip her sheets from her bed.

now its time to check out the Easter baskets! What did the bunny leave?

so the kids are happy about their goodies from the bunny! Little did I know Lacie had a loaded diaper with neon green poo! seriously!? well, 2 hours and 5 diaper changes later, there will be no going anywhere for her.

sucks , cuz i had the cutest outfit for her to wear and was looking forward to showing her off! but i guess she can wear it next weekend when we go have boiled crawfish with the inlaws.

Lacie seems to be feeling fine, 4 hours have gone by with no diaper changes. whew!

well, time to sign off, i ate too much, need to go to the gym!

this is very recent at a bday party. Lacie's first time on a big swing.

just a day, just an ordinary day, trying to get by.

oh Lacie, the laid out on the floor screaming and crying tantrums are getting old. seriously, its not that bad. I try to give her a cookie, and what does she do, look at me like i am nuts and swatthe coolie out of my hands!!! what?! ok, you little sucka, go ahead and cry, i am immune to it and tune it out. fast forward about an hour, i go to Taco Bell and McDonalds. I get the family some food to eat, and boy does Lacie know a McDonald's Happy Meal box already! she high tails it to her high chair, arms raised crying to get in! so i give her a half of her hamburger and she is a whole new child and attitude. i think she may have multiple personalities.

Day 2

Oh, Lacie slept all night long IN HER OWN BED!!! yahoooooo!!!! but for some reason she screamed in her sleep like 4 times last night. what the hell...... i got up to check on her and sure enough, her butt was out cold. strange....... oh well. Last night i took her outside and she got to play on her new fold up slide! she loved it. and then i pulled her around in her wagon and she loved that too. well, she did almost fall out of it, but she didnt.

i made her a turkey sandwich. which she ate some of. and when i gave her brother his Capri Sun. OH MY GAWD! she freaked out! she wanted one too! she is just learning to suck through a straw!

she has also learned how to blow bubbles with her spit. she figured it out and does it all the time, it happens when she says "Ma Ma" hahaha!!! that is great!

Life of Lacie part 1 (the first blog)

well, I am starting this blog today, Lacie is almost 15 months old. it is crazy how time flies by. Her brother, Jonathan, is almost 7. that is really scary to think about. I am hoping to keep this thing going for a long time, as journaling has never been a strong point for me. I hope this sticks.

soooo, here we geaux!!!

This past weekend was a good one. Lacie went to a birthday party for her friend, Tatiana, who turned 1. She got to ride her first merry go round! and she wasnt sure about it at first butthen you couldnt get her off of it! i got a great video of her on it and she was waving and everything.
then after the party i had to take her and her brother to the in laws' house to spend the night. i was not looking forward to that at all. i was very nervous about it. she doesnt really see those people very often, (and that is not my fault or my problem) and she usually doesnt really like them either. well, i dropped the kids off, and apparently she cried for a long time. DUH! she hates when i leave her anywhere. i cant help that she loves her momma!

But, in the end, she did fine, whew! thank goodness. the in laws were nice so i can not complain, it was a pleasant trip. usually i dread being around them but it was ok this time.

we got home and Daddy went cut the grass and Jonathan went ride his bike at Gee Gee's house and Lacie and I went to Wal Mart. What on earth made me think it was a good idea to take her with me! i dont know!

she is mostly good but she wants to hold everything. then when she is tired of it, she wants to throw it on the ground! but when i pick it up and put it in the basket, she freaks out! so its a no win situation. and then as i am putting the groceries on the conveyer belt to check out, she manages to wiggle out of the strap and stands up in the cart seat! Lord have mercy!!!

I think i'll just leave it at that.
